About Us

The club was founded in 2004. It started out as an idea of Sid's because he couldn't find the type of club he and a few friends were looking for. So he got together with those friends and they decided to form their own club. Those are the charter members of the club.

Next was coming up with a name and logo for the club. Everyone put a name into the hat and they pulled out one. Well what wasn't known at the time was that Sid's daughter had slipped in a name too. The name was Shindig Wheelers. Well it stuck and that is where the name came from. The logo is a design of Kelda Sid's wife. It was voted on and is now the official logo for the club.

The original thoughts on the purpose for the club were to have a club that camped, wheeled & raised our kids in an outdoor environment but mostly to have FUN!!

Our stated CLUB PURPOSE is as follows:

 • Promote safe and responsible off-road driving practices

 • Stimulate interest in ownership, operation, and maintenance of four wheel drive & off-road vehicles.

 • Provide families with and groups with fun recreational activities.

 •Be active in Region 4 activities & the Pacific Northwest 4 Wheel Drive Association.
